Skilled bacon

I really should be doing other things, but I just wrote two articles and my brain is whirling at a billion miles per hour, so I thought I'd do a blog instead.

You know my trip to Peak Peak, documented below? Well, my friend N. made a horror movie about it:

He also introduced me to this, which says "Skillet Bacon Spread" but looks here like "Skilled Bacon Spread". Bacon's got skills, man

Also, noteworthy: N's wife Em completed the hike below after chemotherapy and right before major surgery. I was like, "I can't believe I'm doing this hike mildly hungover; I'm just a bad-ass" and N was like, "Um, Em just had chemo and is about to have major surgery" and I was like "WAY TO SHOW OFF EM GOD NO ONE LIKES A BRAGGER."

(I also visited her in the hospital after said major surgery and she was more coherent that I am before my first cup of coffee. That's just how she do).

Anyway, I introduced Em to Poop Strong, which is raising money for a fellow Carleton alum who has colon cancer and is facing medical bankruptcy after his insurance has been tapped out. Colon cancer is worst, followed shortly by health insurance woes. Check out Poop Strong
